Art lending

RESTORATION GENERATES REVENUE!

Damaged works of art cannot be lent out. Nor can they be sold.
That means they're worthless to an art lending library.
In fact their original value ought not to figure on the library's balance sheet.

But after they've been restored, damaged works recover their full value:
  • They can again be lent out or sold;
  • They can be displayed in internal or external exhibitions;
  • They can be credited to the library's balance sheet.
A point to note: it should be possible to recoup the overall cost of restoration by selling off a selected few of the restored items.
